For every 8 oz of tofu
add the following spices into a bowl and mix
1/2 tsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp basil
1/4 tsp dill weed
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp cilantro
1/8 tsp black salt, indian spice (optional) This gives the flavor a little bit of spicy hot flavor.
gradually add 1/8 cup of warm water to the spices bowl until the mixture has
a liquid consistency. It should not be watery but slightly thick.
crumble 8 oz of tofu into a bowl
add the liquid spice mixture to the tofu crumble and mix thoroughly.
set aside the spice bowl and add a little bit more water to capture what is left of the spices. no more than 3 Table spoons of water.
you will use this later when cooking the veggies.
chop veggies that you want.
cook the veggies.
When they are ready add the water from what is left of the spice bowl.
This will cool down the pan, so when the water evaporates, move the veggies out of the way and
add the tofu.
Cook thoroughly the veggies and the tofu.
