Re: Work arounds, hints, etc.
Time to see some real "facts". In map mentioned in an earlier post we have this zone T2_00.PNG where player dies falling into void - around wall marked with red circle, so to speak we have an issue with that wall. By looking at brush I think we have some values not that ".000000"...

Re: Work arounds, hints, etc.
Next stage is speaking about a map sampled in some tutorial fixed and over-fixed, and in final stage not fixed. At least what I could do inside it it's way better than mappers did all these years. It's somehow pathetic to see "awesome" descriptions when the Level do sucks starting with sec...

Re: Work arounds, hints, etc.
Cylinder alignment Description: it's way faster using a builder than painting each vertex. Let's select and input data for a small cylinder and then pressing build Button: stage_0.PNG Apparently (shown in circles) vertexes don't seems indeed aligned at grid having floating values. By Using Command ...

Work arounds, hints, etc.
I think if we have a general mapping thread will be useful for whoever wants to make small steps in advanced mapping (not rocket science mapping...) but basics... While I got busy with tutorials at UT99.org while some topic has been updated I really could see that some of those links and description...

Re: XCGE forum
Notes around Uscript side - XC_Engine.u file more exactly. I believe some people are not fascinated by this toy as long as there are some skin related problems here. This engine is capturing/changing some stuff around player "PostLogin" where is being written some new stuff. I also think t...

Re: XCGE forum
I don't know how many people have used or if they do use this thing, but right now it has version 21 supposed to get over mismatch error troubles. At 3rd attempt Higor did it. While stuff is being downloaded from a XC server (so far tested) it shows even how much content you have to download in orde...

Re: Small incident
Eh, it worked 24 hours (or less), good, I'll drop it away. I have some old good keyboards around, I was intended to use HP to HP but... I have also an old "ISA" type keyboard which was used on the second 286 machine brought in this town years ago. The guy having that machine gave me keyboa...

Small incident
Two days ago I was trying to check commandlets available in server-machine which I'm using for gaming. Surprisingly the HP brand keyboard was refusing to deal with keys "E" and "C". By testing machine (with some emotions of course) using my default operating keyboard everything w...
