Re: Any PUBG/Fortnite players?
Yeah, everything will be eventually but I want it as close to correct out-of-the-box as it can be. It's important that people can play this right off without having to do any real setting up. I expect the ini will be pretty comprehensive if people want to do heavy tweaking of the variables but it ca...

Re: Any PUBG/Fortnite players?
Made a spreadsheet for the default weapon damages so when I begin testing we can discuss and tweak values. I know certain things stand out like the AWM being a beast in damage but it's countered by a very slow fire rate and lack of accuracy if you don't look down the scope. Don't put much into this ...

Re: CTF-(HOF)-Mountains-Jets (My Surprise to HOF :))
Nice map but it needs work. Some problems I found in a quick couple of minutes playtesting: -Bunnytracks section needs the roof set higher. If you jump with boots you hit your head. -Various HOM errors because the transparencies overlap -Map is very over-pathed. You don't need so many. -Lower level ...

Re: How many maps poll...
I'm sure I have multiple thousands and I'd guess I might likely hit somewhere around 8-10,000 if I got them all together. I never culled trash out of my maps though, I figured saving everything was the default.

Re: Any PUBG/Fortnite players?
The collapsing energy field takes a good bit to kill you. It's a common tactic to even hide within in for short periods of time to evade someone or snipe at the players trying to stay inside the safe area. Towards the end though it starts to really hurt you and you have to stay inside. It's a simple...

Re: Work arounds, hints, etc.
I'd bet money on replication. The update frequency is lower than the guided redeemer for example and look at the weirdness that goes on with it.

Re: Work arounds, hints, etc.
You'll likely never get satisfied until MH becomes a stand-alone game in and of itself. That's certainly doable but would be a ton of work. Ultimately though everything we've done for years is hack and slash forcing things to work. Maybe over the summer we could talk about creating a stand-alone gam...

Re: Hi Everyone. :)
If you have a local LAN that can see your server but it cannot be seen by the master servers then that's most likely a problem with the network (so long as you haven't messed with the port settings in the ini, etc). Next time you feel like testing PM me your IP and I'll scan you to see if the server...

Re: Work arounds, hints, etc.
I ran into this once <shudder>. My map had >64 zones and there is a hard limit of 63. If you try to do more than that the engine will start combining them randomly. That's why you see zones sharing the same number that aren't connected. BTW Nels, I haven't forgotten you and testing UTBG. I've been s...

Re: Hi Everyone. :)
About your server...I know you aren't interested now but I'll put this here in case someone googles in. Your issue sounds like a router problem. Many newer routers will need you to place the server computer's local address into a DMZ. If you don't know how just google it, it's not hard but you will ...
