Nels I remember having a long discussion with Barbie over this very issue. He had scripted a way to do this that was very fast and quite smart and they were using it on their MH server to order the player records. You should ask him about it, he's open to sharing code.

I still use PeerGuardian on my server. Nothing I've ever found comes close to the ease of use and easy setup.

The problem with this method is that it's going to be abused. Unless power like this is strictly controlled or available to very trusted staff, people are going to fuck with each other by using it. You know that members will tease other members by activating it on them or just simply retaliate on so...

Yeah it's a shame there's not an engine level way of letting the client over-ride the music if they choose. Perhaps that's worth asking for in the next patch?
