Map originally had no pathing, until I had Nelsona fix that. https://ic.pics.livejournal.com/evilgrins/3189901/7228920/7228920_original.png It seemed ideal for UTDM-monsters, on a couple levels. As you can see in the selection window it originally had a standard Titan and Queen in the arena, which i...

Re: Map assessment and pathing enhancements
So, general map assessment. Notables: · Bots don't tend to leave either base or try and take the flag. · UTDMT in the middle, leave alone. I like him being free range. · UTDMS in bases could do with some pathing, general patrol of the base...and something to return to if they leave and survive enoug...

A long term edit I was doing, which fortunately was pretty much done by the time I lost the ability to edit maps. https://ic.pics.livejournal.com/evilgrins/3189901/7227539/7227539_original.png What we have here is a comic book themed map with 2 bases which are not at all symmetrical. The overall map...

My first foray into compensating for the restriction of team colors on a Star Trek skin. https://ic.pics.livejournal.com/evilgrins/3189901/7226538/7226538_original.png While it wasn't an overall thing in the TOS episode where the crew found themselves in a parallel reality, a lot of the uniforms did...

Re: Map assessment and pathing enhancements
Assess please!
https://unrealarchive.org/maps/unreal-t ... 6dd66.html
Had this awhile, but it's limiting. Bot pathing is either non-existent or bots just don't want to go anywhere out of sporadic laziness.

Edited for 2 different UTDM-monsters, if I still had access to UnrealEd I'd probably eventually have edited for the only other kind I know of as well. https://ic.pics.livejournal.com/evilgrins/3189901/7216961/7216961_original.png What we have here is a large map with two symmetrical sides which a la...

Re: Map assessment and pathing enhancements
Done? Looks like. The occasional BSP aside (fairly common on large maps) looks great. It actually looks even brighter than it did before. Initially thought something was off with the Blue-base, as no one was scoring there, but that's mostly as GoPostal's bot kept killing anyone who went too close.....

Quite awhile ago, in ancient times, I had previously edited this map with UTDMT & UTDMW... https://ic.pics.livejournal.com/evilgrins/3189901/7216098/7216098_original.png ...so this seemed like a good idea, once I finally got the UTDMS version. This happened a lot early on, as I didn't have all v...

Re: Map assessment and pathing enhancements
This should be interesting, as to date I don't think I've ever asked you to assess a DOM map and certainly not anything this intricate or large. I get the sense looking at this, seeing how bots play on it, the pathing is the same as from the CTF4 version. So that needs an update, particularly for th...
