Description : One of the more memorable scenes from The Matrix.
I doubt if the building was actually a bank,
but the name popped up and stuck.

I designed this level with one on one Instagib
in mind, but it has weapons and botpaths for
people who don't play that game type.
Just don't play it with more than 9 people!
It was too cramped to put 16 player starts, and
even 9 players would be insane in this level.

"Could you please remove any metallic items you're carrying, keys, loose change..."

--- Play Information ---
Game : Unreal Tournament - Banktrix
Level Name : The Banktrix
Single Player : Botmatch.
Deathmatch : Yes.
New Sounds : No.
New UScript : No, but I recommend getting MatrixMoves from
			  Reactor4 to complement the level.

New Graphics : A new texture set (no extra download).
Known bugs : I had to completely remake this level after the
first version developed a collision error that
would not go away. I deleted everything except
for ONE BRUSH and it was still there. I even
deleted that brush and made a new one, but the
phantom error still laughed at me. I couldn't copy
any of the brushes over to the new level, otherwise
the error would follow. Any editors who have
encountered this problem PLEASE EMAIL ME. It
			  really made me paranoid.

--- Construction ---
Editor(s) used : UnrealEd 2.0
Base : New level.
Construction Time : Less than one week.
Inspiration : I really loved The Matrix. I saw some other levels
based on it and wanted to make one that just focused
on the lobby scene, with lots of detail. I watched
the shootout over and over to make sure I had the
proportions right. Just a couple of things I wanted
			  to do but couldn't:
I wanted to make the pillar chunks fly off in slow
motion, but couldn't figure out how.
I wanted to find a tracked version of the song from
the movie to use, but the song from UT fit nicely.

Author's Notes
--------------
Thanks to John (jcfal@clara.net) for some of the textures (from his DM-Matrixed Matex pack),
although I altered the pillar and floor textures to more closely match the movie.
A special thanks to the Wachowski brothers for blowing people's minds. Keep it up!
